Son of Light / Awards
The Son of Light award is presented in Nepal to people who work for the benefit of children from Nepal. Markus Pio Löffler was awarded this honor in 2020.
In 2023, Markus Pio Löffler was awarded the highest honor possible for non-Rotarians.
In addition to the international projects, Markus Pio Löffler supports regional projects in Tyrol, e.g. the financing of a vehicle and a lift for a girl with special needs from the Innsbruck area.
Energy support for sports clubs, local farmers for better animal welfare or optimizations in pest control are also close to his heart.
